The Dentists
Dr. Mary Roth is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association, the Black Hills District Dental Society, the South Dakota Retailers Association and the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce. She is involved with our community through Zonta International of the Black Hills, Ski for Light and serves on the Board of Directors of the Western Dakota Technical Institute Dental Assistant Program. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota in 1987. Dr. Kate Haave is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association and the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce.
The Professional Staff
Chris has been with Wilson Park Dental since 2009. Whether it's greeting you at the reception desk, making dental appointments and follow up correspondence, helping you with your insurance or behind the scenes day-to-day operations, you can expect a friendly and genuinely positive experience. Connie has been practicing dental hygiene for 32 years. She has been at our office since 1998. She enjoys helping people have a healthy lifestyle through the care of their mouths. Jennifer has been a full-time hygienist at Wilson Park Dental since 2003, after substituting for 2 years. Jackie has been working as a dental assistant since that time as a registered dental assistant with expanded functions. Lindsay is a registered and certified dental assistant with expanded functions. Her friendly personality will help you feel more comfortable while visiting our office.
Your first visit to Wilson Park Dental
Your first visit to Wilson Park Dental will include an examination. This examination includes a soft tissue examination, an oral cancer screening, an evaluation of your existing restorations and any new cavities and a periodontal screening. A periodontal examination and probing are used to assess the health of your mouth and teeth. It helps the dentist diagnose the gum diseases gingivitis and periodontal disease. If your dentist has concerns about your gum health, you may be referred to a Periodontist, who is a gum-disease specialist.
