Safe Haven Pet Resort is one of Rapid City's finest all-around pet care facilities. We're known as the place smart pets choose because they know we love each and every one of them. Once you bring your pet to Safe Haven, you'll never take your pet anywhere else. We are the best!

Pet services

Safe Haven provides a complete line of pet services including doggie daycare, overnight suites, grooming salon, in-home pet care, pet waste removal and pet taxi service. We are a complete pet service center. Have a busy day planned? Why not drop off your dog with us for the day? Your dog will just love our play area where it can participate in group play like tug-of-war or just relax on the couch to watch TV.

Our overnight suites are great!

If you're going to be gone overnight, check your dog into one of our individual guest suites. Each suite is climate-controlled and includes a toddler bed with fresh linen and blankets, a glass front with curtains, fresh water and clean dishes daily, cable TV 24 hours a day and plenty of playtime.

Check out our grooming salon

Treat your pet to a real spa experience. Our pet grooming includes an almond jojoba bubble bath, brushing, blow dry, nails clipped, ears cleaned and hair removed, glands expressed, haircut or shave, cologne or perfume and a hair bow or bandana. Our groomers have years of experience and are committed to providing your pet with the cut that brings out their personality.

Try our pet taxi

Keep your vehicle hair free. We'll pick up your pet within a 3-mile radius at a specified time to take them to any appointments including vet or grooming. No appointment necessary with us to use our taxi service. If you have an early flight and would like your pet to stay with us, just call.
